WHAT WE DO
BUILDING SAFETY CASE REPORTS - Full implementation of the Building Safety Act is October 2023. Registration of existing buildings is expected to begin in April 2023, with the Building Assessment Certificate process expected to begin in April 2024.
The principal accountable person (PAP) for an occupied, high-rise residential building, will be required to produce a safety case report. Along with -
register their building with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR)
perform a building safety risk assessment
introduce measures to manage building safety risks
prepare a safety case report for the building to give to BSR on request
